Julia + Gregg ~ Timeless Elegance at the Boston Public Library from Heirloom Pictures on Vimeo.

Julia and Gregg married on a lovely summer day at the unparalleled Boston Public Libary.

Heirloom Pictures recently had the pleasure of capturing Julia and Gregg at one of our most favorite locales in Boston; we love the Boston Public Library for many reasons, the least of which is its grand architecture and dramatic scenery. The day began as Julia and her closest girlfriends and family gathered at her parents’ place nearby. The ladies helped Julia with her final preparations for the day and put the finishing touches on before the couple’s First Look.

The couple chose the Grand Staircase as the location for their First Look where they shared in a few quiet moments before their ceremony. The magnificent Courtyard at the BPL is always a stunning backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, vows and rings were exchanged in a custom ceremony with a friend of the couple officiating. The celebration moved to cocktail hour followed by the reception in historic Bates Hall.

Filled with the glow of the antique green lamps, the couple chose a classic palette of whites, creams, and greens running down the center of each guest table. Julia and Gregg had been excited to have all of the loved ones in one room celebrating together alongside them – it is clear they were soaking up every moment. They listened to heartfelt toasts, enjoyed exquisite food and danced the night away enjoying every second of this memorable day. Julia and Gregg are looking forward to sharing these highlights with everyone and especially excited to share with Gregg’s grandmother and uncle who were unable to attend. Please enjoy!
