We hope you will enjoy viewing our work and seeing some of the beautiful weddings we have been so fortunate to document!

welcome to our

wedding journal

Kate and Kyle were married at the Harvard Memorial Church in Harvard Yard followed by a truly marvelous reception at the Harvard Art Museum.

Steeped in history, art and culture, both the ceremony and reception locations for Kate and Kyle’s day were full of breathtaking spaces that are a joy to capture. The day began for us as we joined the bride and groom getting ready for the day ahead at the Charles Hotel in Harvard Square. Kate and her loved ones gathered to dress and ready while Kyle likewise enjoyed the company of his groomsmen and family. There was an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement on all fronts. 🙂 We love the sweet in-between moments that happen throughout the day and one special moment was with Kate and her father as they saw each other fully dressed. Oh, the happy tears!

After a very loving and private First Look, Kate and Kyle made their way to Harvard yard for photos and then the Memorial Church to exchange lifelong vows in front of friends and family. A lovely wedding ceremony in a striking location, this historic church is always a privilege to capture. After the nuptials, we made our way over to the Harvard Art Museum to begin celebrating.

The Calderwood Courtyard housed the reception and is an extraordinary atrium-style space in the heart of the museum. It’s literally surrounded priceless masterpieces from the world’s greatest artists. Kate and Kyle were able to enjoy the evening as newlyweds as they were toasted and celebrated by all. An incredible evening of delicious food, dancing, and excellent company; truly a night to remember!

Heirloom Pictures was honored to be a part of the day and we are thrilled to share Kate and Kyle’s wedding day highlights – please enjoy!
