For Carrie and Alex, having all their friends and loved ones together in the same space at the same time to celebrate their lifetime commitment was paramount when selecting a venue. In their own words, Carrie and Alex remarked, “We really lucked out that 2017 marked the first year the JFK started doing weddings- the stars just aligned for us! The other great part about the venue is the MAGNIFICENT views of the harbor and the city of Boston which is where we met, where we’ve made our home and a place that we both love and is representative of our relationship.” The JFK Presidential Library and Museum is an iconic and humbling locale to capture a wedding and we were so thrilled to be capturing film there.

We joined the wedding party as preparations were in full swing – Carrie with her loved ones and Alex with his at the Seaport Hotel – each celebrating in their own way as they were gearing up to their First Look. Situated along the water, Alex’s face when he saw Carrie for the first time as a bride spoke volumes – what an awesome moment to capture!

The wedding ceremony was held in the Museum Pavilion – a nine-story glass atrium boasting lovely views of Boston Harbor. The ceremony, officiated by Carries brother, was sweet with timeless nuptials as Carrie and Alex became husband and wife.

Afterward, the celebrating continued as a fabulous cocktail hour turned to an evening reception. Guests enjoyed a beautiful setting with lush flowers with sparkling candlelight creating a romantic atmosphere. Carrie and Alex soaked it all in as moving toasts and memorable dances rounded out a lovely dinner and dessert. With such an amazing band, the party moved to the dance floor where Carrie and Alex could be found with big smiles surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
