Filmmaker Marcella Hoekstra has been producing wedding films since 2005. With a degree in Film and Video from the Rhode Island School of Design, she has spent over two decades as an independent filmmaker, director, producer, educator and business owner. Combining her extensive experience and love of filmmaking with a sincere fondness for telling a couples wedding story has brought her, joyfully, to Heirloom Pictures 19th season.
Diane brought her organizations skills, wedding industry know-how and warm demeanor to the Heirloom Pictures team in 2019. She loves the personalized and attentive experience that Heirloom offers their clients and enjoys going the extra mile for our couples as Client Concierge. When not working, she spends time with her husband, their two kids and 2 huge dogs and taking road trips up & down the East Coast, exploring new sites and sounds!
Jon Downs graduated from Rhode Island College in 2003 with a degree in media studies. Although he's worked on many acclaimed short films, music videos, documentaries and commercial videos, wedding videos are definitely his specialty. Jon creates all highlights and documentary edits for Heirloom Pictures and has been bringing his creative and technicals skills to the team since 2014. 2023 will be is tenth year at Heirloom Pictures.

Jeremy Abraham has been creating wedding films since 1998. With over 20 years of experience as a wedding filmmaker, Jeremy brings his talent and creativity as a cinematographer to every job whether its shooting weddings, commercial projects or corporate work. Jeremy has been a member of the Heirloom Pictures team since 2015 and, as our 2023 season begins, will mark his ninth year capturing weddings for Heirloom Pictures.
