Sarah and Dennis met years ago at an open mic night in Cape Cod. Dennis was a music teacher for Sarah’s bass playing uncle and the two ended up meeting that night with Sarah singing and Dennis also performing. While Sarah admits at first glance the long-haired rocker that Dennis was at the time was not “her type”, there were definitely some sparks! A year later they reconnected at one of Dennis’ shows and the rest was history!

The Cape was the perfect place for our couple to have their romantic and very fun wedding as it was where they first met! They were both so excited to gather family and friends together and share this beautiful location, ceremony and celebration with them.

We started our day with the couple as they got ready for their first look. Indeed getting ready with family and friends was one of Sarahs favorite parts of the day. Music played while the bride, brides maids and brides man sipped champagne and primped. Finally Sarah was ready to get dressed and with the help of her mom and sister slipped into her gown and had wonderful first looks with her wedding party and then her father. Dennis was with the gents as they donned full black tie and got the groom ready for his first look with his bride. With the bright Cape Cod sun shining down on them, the two met on a private green patch overlooking the water at the resort. They then gathered together with their bridal party for photos before finally making their way inside for the ceremony.

The ceremony was located in a floor to ceiling windowed hall of the resort with the water in full and grand view. The room was decorated with flickering candles, a white runner covered in matching petals and lush ivory and green florals perched on clear pedestals. With the fireplace warming all and the string quartet playing, guests gathered together and watched Sarah and Dennis wed. After the exchange of vows and rings and the sweetest or readers enhancing the moments, our bride and groom sealed the deal with a kiss and made their way back down the aisle as husband and wife!

Next was on to the celebration! Sarah and Dennis were so excited to treat their guests to exceptional food during the day and it definitely started at the cocktail hour. Incredible spreads were laid out including signature cocktails and delicious seafood which made the Cape Cod experience complete for guests! As family and friends chatted and sipped cocktails the finishing touches were put on the reception hall. The room was filled with more beautiful florals and twinkling candles. The long head table with its crystal and gold chargers and sparkling settings made for a dramatic centerpiece to the whole room. As the final champagne glasses were filled, guests entered and were soon cheering and welcoming the new Mr and Mrs to the room for their grand entrance and first dance. After heartfelt toasts and a delightful dinner, the dance floor was opened. With the music playing the floor was filled with the bride and groom and their nearest and dearest as they celebrated into the night.
