Jacklyn and Jason were cyber-sweethearts, meeting online about four years ago. Jason was quick to ask for Jacklyn’s number and take the conversation off of the app which Jacklyn liked very much! Their first date was at The Mermaid Inn on the Upper West Side of New York.

For their ceremony and celebration, the bride and groom chose Migis Lodge in Casco, ME. Jacklyn’s family had been going up to the Lodge for the past 20 years and when Jason had an opportunity to visit the lodge he also fell in love with it. Together, they we so excited to share this very magical place with their dearest family and friends.

We started our day as Jacklyn and Jason got ready for their first look. In the ladies lodge, Jacklyn enjoyed time with her family and friends on the front porch as she put on her finishing touches. Not to be missed was the bride and grooms Labradoodle, Phoebe, who made the rounds checking out the scene and coaxing pets from the bridesmaids. Everyone was dressed in their sweet matching pajamas and took a moment to pose for some photos (also with Phoebe!) before the bride headed in to put on her gown with her sisters and mom. Jason was in the gents lodge also getting ready, donning suit, lobster socks and silvery powder blue tie. The couple read letters from one another before heading out to finally see each other, but not before Jacklyns father got to see his first daughter to get married in her gown and give her a hug.

Among the tall trees of the wooded path, Jacklyn and Jason had their first look at each other. After this lovely private moment, champagne was popping and it was on to a very fun photo session with their family and grand wedding party.

After the intimate Ketubah signing, it was on to the ceremony under the Chuppah with family, friends and invited guests. You couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather! The sun peaked through the clouds and there was a cool breeze off of the the lake as Jacklyn and Jason made their vows and became husband and wife! The two walked straight down the aisle onto a waiting motorboat for a private trip around the lake together to enjoy those first few moments of married life.

Next was onto the party! Guests clinked glasses and enjoyed wonderful hors D’oeuvres among the trees and overlooking the lake as the bride and groom joined them, just back from their boat ride. Everyone gathered inside to await the introduction of Jacklyn and Jason and cheered as the entered. After some wonderful toasts from the parents and siblings of the bride and groom, the party started and went late into the night.

Jacklyn and Jason, thank you for having us at your wonderful wedding! We truly enjoyed meeting you, your families and your friends. You were a wonderful crowd to be around and the happiness of the day and energy of your guests was infectious! 🙂 We hope you enjoy sharing these films with Murray and Jane!
