Nikki and Ben were destined to be together! After ten years of working in the same building in Newton and never running onto each other the two finally met with the help of fate and a swipe right! At a first date at Temezcal and after a few sips into their margaritas, they knew they had struck gold. A chance encounter that evening with a family friend confirmed the spark with a text from the friend to Nikkis mom, ” Just met your future son in law before you did!”, and so the romance began.
While planning their day, Nikki and Ben wanted to enjoy everything Boston had to offer and share it with their guests and wedding party. They started the day getting ready at the Intercontinental Hotels and overlooked the wonderful Boston seaport while preparing for their first look. For the celebration, it was the modern Artist for Humanity building which provided a chic background, made lush with lavish florals, flowing fabrics and cozy decor. Nikki and Ben also payed attention to every detail including custom bags for guests and hand picked custom cocktails to toast the day.
After a sweet first look by the water, the bride and groom enjoyed their photo session with their wedding party, family and friends. From there, they made their way to Artist for Humanity and relaxed as guests began to arrive. Their ceremony, officiated by a friend, had a centerpiece of earnest personal vows and a magnificent first kiss!
Most memorable for Heirloom Pictures while shooting this day was the incredible love between Ben and Nikki and the warmth of their family and friends. The way that Ben and Nikki look at each other and the glances and smiles they exchanged throughout the day were so lovely to witness. And beyond the romance and emotion of the day we were so energized by the incredible celebration that followed the tender toasts at the reception. To say this crew knows how to party is an understatement. Just look at the dance footage yourself! The band was swinging and the crowd danced and danced into the night.
Nikki and Ben, thank you so much for making us part of your wonderful day. It was so lovely to spend time with you and your guests and capture your wedding, celebration and above all your love for each other. It was our pleasure and a joy!
Thank you Nikki Cole for the lovely cover photo!
