Jacqueline and Alex ~ A Elegant and Romantic Wedding at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA

Jacqueline and Alex we married at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA. This fun loving couple first me back in 2014 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana when Jacqueline was getting her PhD and Alex, a cinematographer, came to town to shoot a movie. After their first date, Alex was smitten and Jacqueline already knew, she had just met the man she would marry. When the film wrapped and Alex headed back to LA the two stayed in touch, maintaining a long distance relationship. About a year later, Jacqueline was packing up her bags and heading to up to California to join Alex.

We started the day with our bride getting ready at a private home and the groom with his men at the Inn at Castle Hill. Upon entering the home where the bride, her family and her friends we getting ready it was all warmth and sparkle. The home, located on a small farm, had horses lounging in the sun outside and inside the farm house the ladies were dressed in jewel toned gowns and Jacqueline was making last minute adjustment to her personal vows. Alex and the men, looking handsome in their navy suits, gathered outside on the porch of the Inn. With the help of his best man, Alex put on his finishing touches including a gorgeous peacock feather bow tie. After slipping into her gown and gloves, Jacqueline was ready for her first look with Alex back at the Estate.

Under the rustic cloister on the Crane Estate property, Alex waited to get his first look at Jacqueline. The couple chose this venue for tis timeless beauty and because it also reflected their love of the outdoors. The sun was shining and the sky was perfectly blue as our bride approached our groom. After some sweet moments together, the two took their positions as guests arrived. For Alex, the first look was one of the favorite parts of the day. Jacqueline admitted to having fun peeking out from behind the rock wall to get a glimpse of guests arriving!

As the sun slowly crept lower, the ceremony began. Alex and Jacquline made their personal vows, exchanged rings and finally became husband and wife. After departing under crossed swords, it was on to the reception!

In the Barn at the Crane Estate, Alex and Jacqueline created an earthy, eclectic and fun oasis for their family and friends. Upon entering, guests first saw wedding photos of generation past spread across the welcome table and a backdrop set up for candid photos and fun! Surrounded by loved ones, the two were treated to heartfelt toasts and then danced the night away!

Jacqueline and Alex, it was wonderful to get to know you both and be there for you on your wedding day! Thank you again for having us! Wishing you much happiness in the many years to come!
